Welcome to the
Hacienda La Puente Unified School District’s
Personnel Commission

Welcome to the Personnel Commission website for the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD). The Personnel Commission and its staff work to establish policies, practices, and procedures serving classified employees at HLPUSD in the areas of classification and compensation, recruitment and assessment, training, and disciplinary hearings. The classified employees provide essential non-teaching services to students, teachers, and the public. If you are interested in being considered for a position as a classified employee, please visit our Job Seekers page to apply for current recruitments or register for future recruitments. We also encourage you to visit other parts of our website, which offer valuable information on test taking tips, employment benefits, our District and community, information about classified employment, and information about the merit system and its principles.

Mission Statement

The Personnel Commission is committed to providing professional, timely, efficient, and effective service in attracting and retaining the best-qualified employees based on demonstrated job-related merit and fitness for providing the District with a quality workforce that promotes a culture of teamwork, fairness and an environment dedicated to student success.
